What is the Standard?

What is it that these girls really want? You raise your son to be a Torah true Jew, but with the ability to earn a living, and all of a sudden he is the greatest pariah in the world. I knew that the seminaries were filling the girl's heads with visions of roshei yeshiva and talmedei chachamim, but who is supposed to pay for all of that? Are these girls really willing to live with mis-matched dishes and used furniture? I wonder.

  1. What mismatched dishes?!?!?
You want a BEN TORAH to eat of mismatched dishes??!?!
Many of today's learning couples have come to expect a fully furnished, fully funded lifestyle and THEREIN lies the insurmountable problem.
Rav Schwab zt"l once said a man must learn a profession so that he is not tempted to obtain his livelihood by other, less honorable means...
